Key Features

Below is a clear breakdown of how DBS works, what it covers, and how benefits are applied.

1) Three Participation Benefits

Immediate cash benefit

Desscare Immediate Cash Benefit

A bereaved participant may receive a check payment of up to a maximum of US$40,000, usually processed through the community chairperson within 24 hours.

Community offering benefit

Desscare Community Offering Benefit

A voluntary community offering to the bereaved family, like a bonus on top of a check. Community members willingly contribute an offering to support the family.

Community empathy benefit

Desscare Community Empathy Benefit

A voluntary act of compassion where community members support the bereaved family, helping them mourn and assisting in any practical way.

2) Twenty four(24)-Month Benefits Waiting Period & Early Benefit Schedule (EBPS)

A newly admitted participant must wait for 24 months to qualify for full Desscare Immediate Triple Benefits (DITB). Otherwise, the participant receives benefits according to the Early Benefit Payment Schedule (EBPS) below.
