Diaspora Parliamentary Group (DPG)
The Diaspora Parliamentary Group provides a structured chapter-based pathway for representation within DC48 Kenya, and it is led by the Senate Liaison Leader (Diaspora Senator). It is also referred to as the Members of Chapter Representative (MCR), which connects Regional and Chapter leadership into the broader legislative process.
Members of Diaspora Assembly (MDA)
The Members of Diaspora Assembly expands governance participation through an assembly-based structure under the leadership of the Diaspora Assembly Speaker. This gives diaspora members a formal space for collective representation, and participation across divisions.
DC48 Kenya believes meaningful diaspora empowerment must include governance. By sustaining the Diaspora Parliamentary Group and the Members of Diaspora Assembly within its legislative structure, the organization gives diaspora members recognized systems through which they can speak, organize, and contribute to leadership and representation.
